Actually he insisted that it be very well-done. Also the grill was the top of my aquarium.

I really REALLY hate my dreams, or at least the ones I happen to remember, it's always something disturbing or plain bizarre, fucked up, and depressive the ones I HATE most are those involving faeces, honestly I don't know why, I don't have any scat fetishes or anything, I find poo absolutely disgusting, the most recent example: in my dream I was around one of my classmates', he lived in a wooden shack and there were 3-4 holes around that he used as a toilet, and it was like just depressive overall. I hate these dystopian dreams ugh.

Well there you have it. 'Sides, if you have such a strong aversion to crap, maybe you've got some displacement going on about it, so it becomes a strong prescence.

I worded it out maybe too strongly just to make it clear I'm not a scat fetishist, what I meant was that my attitude towards poo is just as any other 'normal' person's, I just want it out of my dystopian depressive bizarro dreams.

But Tom, your dream isn't about peeing; it's about female power. come on, it all screams female power. women and muscle, women and construction, toilet seat down, hell, even welding is about power; we're talking about molten metal and solid structures after all. Peeing is just incidental here, way I see it. it's a need female empowerment denied you, in the dream.

By comparison, Io tells us his dreams are full of shit... literally.

Oh, and as a sidenote... maybe if your dreams are full of woe and sadness and bizarre-ness and are depressing... a little crap doesn't seem like such a bad thing, by comparison

Some of my recurring dreams actually take place in my conworld. Namely, a lot of things such as the various histories, a story that takes place partly in the Glaagh Empire, some of the wars, and such. And imagining myself there, especially in Telèmor.

But I've also been dreaming and thinking a lot about what would happen if (God forbid) I made it through to round two of the JET application... or just ended up in a foreign country next year, maybe as soon as May (Germany application opens soon!).

And another recurring dream features members of this board, either me deciding to head somewhere and (surprise!) finding them or inviting someone to the US. Usual people for this are Torco, Io, finlay, Guitarplayer, and thedukeofnuke, but others have shown up now and then.

I dreamt I lived in an Ayleid ruin that had been renovated into halls that I lived in in Tamriel.

I dream about video games.

I dreamt of reading the Quran. Of course, I had just been reading the Quran before I fell asleep.

I also dreamt I was back in Grade 8, and having to catch up with Chinese lessons.

I think I had a ZBB dream last night. It was pretty boring; all I was doing was writing up a defense of private property in response to some post that doesn't seem to exist IRL.

Oh, I dreamt of playing bingo. I also dreamt my mother [who is dead] took my car and drove up the stairs to take my father (who was drunk) to bed, and left a big mess with everything in pieces and my books scattered all over the place. And I dreamt I had 60 books out from the Oklahoma State University library, some of which were quite overdue. [In reality, I have no books out from there.]

This was not really a dream so much as delirious, fever-influenced waking thoughts:

I couldn't remember who I was or where I was from - I figured it was somewhere in the South. I spoke with a heavy Southern accent, lived on a rural farmstead, and may have been a woman. Then I tried to remember my location - first I hit upon "Quings County," and then "Kings County," i.e. Brooklyn.

But did this mean that I was Kings County? No, I was just a piece of it - merged into it like a tile on a floor. I couldn't figure out the difference between people and landmasses - weren't landmasses just conglomerations of people stuck together? And weren't babies the same thing as islands?

(at this point I managed to stagger to the bathroom to take some Tylenol)

I went back to bed this morning and had a dream about being in Brooklyn again, but with all the library funding cuts there it was a disaster. I wouldn’t see anyone because I was ashamed of being back, and thought to myself, "But I have a job in Oklahoma! Why am I here? Why do I even have to worry about this?" So I walked around looking for something to eat, and bought a slice of Sicilian pizza for $2, and then headed over toward the new hamburger chains that were the talk of downtown Brooklyn, McMurphy's and something else. Then I remembered White Castle and decided to go there.

(I await boy#12's comment about the Brooklyn-ness of the dream, and the above dunamopuka's comment too, unless they're the same person and I've forgotten.)

I dreamt that there was a big war going on and two of my cousins and my best friend from childhood were hiding on a little island off the coast of Guam. At first it was a happy dream but then my cousins were hit by a bomb while they were fishing and my friend lit her house on fire (???) and ran away but it exploded and killed her.

To honour the ridiculous action in that dream, I give you the album Waking up with the house on fire by Culture Club.

I had a dream where a bunch of people where trying to fly by holding onto "wings" that looked like pieces of plywood stuck together, and holding these above their heads while standing in the back of a dump truck as it drove down the highway. Instead, they ended up falling off of the back and go sliding down the road... oddly, they didn't seem to be hurt by this. If someone was having particular trouble getting airborne, they would raise the dump bed... and make them fall off faster.

Then there was a lunch break where there were a bunch of cookies, and apparently nothing else. Some of the cookies were soaking wet, for some reason. And whatever the next activity was, it actually required safety gear, while the dump truck flight thing didn't.

We are one and the same. The "new hamburger chains" in question are Checkers and Five Guys. Pizza's gone up to $2.25 a slice. I know the White Castle you're talking about, it's on Willoughby St. near the F train.

WHAT THE FUCK was that dream? This guy (who was about nine feet tall and albino) told me "The message is written on your bones," proceeded to dismember me and look at my bones (which had writing on them which I couldn't identify) and then put me back together once he knew the message and I woke up.

???

I think that takes the cake for the WTFiest dream I've ever had.

I just woke up from a dream that I was playing real-life Dwarf Fortress, and got a steel axe, and then went back to my real-life school to become a serial killer with said axe. Then I went to calculus. Without the axe.

I had a dream in which I partially circumcised myself (it didn't hurt, either). Creepy. Perhaps my Jewish nature is asserting itself.

Freud would probably interpret that dream in terms of emasculation, and you seem to be a bit non-chalant about it, willing to reason it in some way.

Have you recently decided to or thought of letting go your preconceptions of masculinity or sexuality?

(interpreting rarely works on someone else's dreams, but sometimes a fresh perspective, even mistaken, can help the person work through completely random troubles or thoughts, even if the dream isn't what it seems to be to the interpreter)

I might have a dream tonight, I'm going to bed early. I'll post what dreams I have if I can remember them. (if anyone is willing to interpret my dreams or others based on their own experiences, I'd be willing at this point in my life to have some random perspectives from peers, others might be too)
