The dream thread
Re: The dream thread
I had a dream last night in which I and several people I don't know and whose appearances I can't remember were in some random building for some sort of long game of some sort, but it was in New York City.
We weren't supposed to leave the building during the game, but the game hadn't started yet, and I saw a vending machine (some of the items for very strange prices, like $1.2250 - I remember that one very distinctly.) I didn't have $1 bills, and so needed to make change from a $5. I checked with the proctor, who said it was all right, and I came first to some sort of a street change-maker, but he was robbed at gunpoint, so I left. I walked a little ways and came to this university, which inside one of the buildings also had vending machines which would accept $5 bills. I tried putting mine in - it took several attempts - only to realize that I was actually trying to put it in an ATM.
Suddenly not thirsty anymore, I left the vending-machine building, and it was suddenly daytime outside (it had been nighttime previously - my subconscious telling me the sun had risen in real life?), but before I got very far, I woke up thanks to someone calling the wrong number.

That's hilarious! I just had a dream where I went to Google to demand reparations for destroying my ability to use my webcam on flash-based chatrooms because I can't uninstall the Google Talk plugin on my Mac.
This actually happened, so I must really be pissed off about this more than I realized. The GT plugin seems to lack an uninstaller app in the download or any file that is installed... and I can't seem to disable it even with Firefox's ability to disable plugins.
So. I'm definitely angry, and I'll have to delete my harddrive and reinstall the OS, and move all my files and apps that I want to move.

Saliva isn't so great a lubricant, though... I imagine it's the peptin but it doesn't go well with microtears caused by intercourse... cooper's fluid and a vagina's natural lubrication are a lot better, but for a woman to really lubricate you have to emotionally involve her, not just get her horny. But yeah, foreplay is kinda like women that are into you, there can never be too much. and spit's all right.TomHChappell wrote:@Torco:During foreplay, you can lubricate her with your tongue and/or she can lubricate you with her mouth. You'll both enjoy that. Also, before you pass on from foreplay, you should at least get to the point where you can insert, say, the first two joints of, say, your pinkie finger, not only without causing her pain, but with her pleasure.Torco wrote:hmmm.. sit forward-slide back? hmmm... sounds like a good tactic, since the perineum has far less labial tissue than the perineum, and so labial stretching [one of the big culprits of genital pain in chicks, AFAICT] is minimized. NAIS, man, thanks for the tip. I'm gonna try it one of these days.
Anyway, awesome of you to offer advice. I figured it out, though, it was a combo of her rushing into it and my bad habit of keeping her at the almost-squirt point too long. retained g-spot orgasms, apparently, can build up a LOT of pressure (for an example of this, google "cytherea")
Re: The dream thread
I had a horrible dream about giant bugs.
They were underneath a piece of furniture, and they were rather docile and sleepy-looking, until the person I was with put a certain type of giant fly under there with them. The other bugs leapt up, and were climbing all over me and biting, and I could feel how heavy and hard and spiky they were, and it was terrifying.

I dreamt that I called Radius, it was only the third time I reached him and he couldn't recognise me immediately but still we exchanged some small talk, the moment when he knew who I was it became awkward.
That's all I remember, no idea why on earth I'd call him etc.

Re: The dream thread
I dreamt that I had to write some horrible essay about the past 30 years in children’s literature for some elementary school, maybe even my elementary school, for I was walking down the street it was on. And I also saw this big accident because people who were going to the football game were driving too fast and too carelessly and they ran into each other and also some crowds of people and knocked them over like bowling pins.
Re: The dream thread
Was this in English or Bulgarian? Did Radius magically speak Bulgarian?Io wrote:I dreamt that I called Radius, it was only the third time I reached him and he couldn't recognise me immediately but still we exchanged some small talk, the moment when he knew who I was it became awkward.

Re: The dream thread
It would have been in English. I constantly bite my tongue in real life because I'm about to blurt out something in English to Bulgarians. I should spend more time talking to real life people.
Re: The dream thread
Nice! It's hard to dream in another language when you're not immersed in it. I've only dreamt once or twice in Spanish, and even then it only was after hours of real life Spanish conversation.Io wrote:It would have been in English. I had a dream last night where I was in a class, math apparently by the feeling I had in the dream, only Haruhi Suzumiya was the teacher for some reason, and she treated me like I was Kyon. She also gave me a textbook at one point that had a bunch of pages in the wrong part of the book, and some of them were placed in it upside down. Also, she assigned essays. Apparently she was aware of her abilities, as she apparently collected said essays by transporting them at the assigned due date, or at least that is what it seemed like what happened, as the essays suddenly vanished aund the time that they were due.

Re: The dream thread
My former elementary school has a "Twos' Classroom" for 2-year-olds. I dreamt that I was sitting there among the toddlers, on a toddler-sized chair at a toddler-sized table, eating chunks of lard from a bag. We (me and the 2-year-olds and their teacher) were being given a demonstration of a virtual reality system. In the simulation, we were fighting a conspiracy of people involving some kind of color-changing tribal tattoo symbols. It was a pleasant, candy-colored, mildly surreal world reminiscent of a modern children's cartoon, but there was also a lot of explicit violence, and a guy who cursed a lot. I was thinking this wasn't really appropriate material for the 2-year-olds, as I nibbled my lard.

I think it’s hilarious that this thread has evolved into the dream and sex advice thread.

Yes, but gsandi is even more elder than me, and he lives with one of those women people all the time, and for years and years, too. So you need to ask him for advice.

I dreamt that I was using some new aspect of the phpbb software to report a spammer to Zompist. It was a pull-down menu + form, and was fiendishly complex. Then I dreamt I had two courses at my undergrad university and was failing them.

I was female, and I had perished in a fire a couple of weeks ago, but instead of being a ghost, I was now basically invincible and immortal, and could curse/bless people as I chose. I had enormous fun cursing people I didn't like; my favourite was dooming someone to wear a bucket on his head for the rest of his life.
That dream more than makes up for the giant bugs of two nights ago.

Re: The dream thread
I was reading a book about city landmarks that had fallen into disrepair but were later restored. I went to go visit one of them, a particular subway entrance kiosk. Then I got on the subway, and inside the car I was reading the ads. Posted among them was the text of a Wikipedia article about a fictional religion called "Religion," described in two satirical plays by two separate playwrights. The central concept of this religion was "the Eight Manhattans," or more fully "the Eight Successive Manhattans." (the article was saying, "...it is never made clear in either play what exactly this concept entails.") The feast of the Eight Manhattans was called "the Event" and occurred somewhere somewhere between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
There was more that I wish I could remember - I literally just woke up from this!

Re: The dream thread
I had one of the weirdest dream. I was dreaming of bagels, and that I was eating loads of them. And then there was one of my flatmates, the one that's actually never there, that was cleaning the kitchen for a reason I couldn't understand. It was a weird dream, though I'm sure it's related to the fact that I was really hungry.
