Last nite I dreamt I had really bad body odor, but it wasn't just from a lack of showering or excessive perspiration, it was more like a Super Power. Like I could use it to defeat evil or something.

Really? I find it somehow funny to imagine someone saying "Oh pardon me, I'm billeting an exchange student" on the phone and the other person wondering what the hell that means.
If it were me on the other end of the line, I might have misheard it as "filleting". That is unless "billet" is pronounced /ˈbɪlət/ instead of /bɨˈleɪ/, in which case I would have no idea what that meant, "but it doesn't sound nice".
Really? You don't know how to pronounce billet? It's /bI5.lIt/.

This morning I dreamt that I was at a Phil Collins/MC Hammer concert with my boyfriend (note: I do not have a boyfriend outside of dreamland). After the concert was over, Phil got swarmed by fans, but barely anyone went to talk to MC Hammer. So my boyfriend gets up and goes and talks to him; he wanted to borrow his truck so he could go fishing between 1AM and 7AM, when he had to go to work. He got the keys, and came back and sat next to me with the biggest grin on his face. I was rather peeved since I wanted to spend some more time with him, even if it was actual sleep.

I looked across the street from my house to see that there was a raging fire occupying a single square of sidewalk. I ran across the street to stop it; the house opposite had a garden hose in the front yard, but I couldn't get anything out of it beyond a small dribble. I knew this all had something to do with the landlord, who was the Devil. So I started spitting on the fire. Then I called my father to come bring our own garden hose and hook it up to this house's tap, but immediately a woman ran out from the ground floor apartment - she was Satan's downstairs tenant - and somehow fixed the hose and we put out the flames. Then my dad came running across the street with our hose but I told him we'd already gotten the situation under control.

It was a few hundred years ago, and I was a servant in a big old country house. Queen Elizabeth II was somehow still the monarch, and she was coming to this country house for a ball. I had to walk to the village and back, to buy the spices the cook wanted, and it was a very cold and beautiful wintry day - the sort where the sunlight looks all watery and is so low on the horizon that you can't see anything for its brightness. All my friends in the village were very excited about the queen's visit, and they decided they would come with me back to the country house and cheer her at the gates. So when I began walking back, everybody came with me.

It was a lovely walk, but I woke up before the queen arrived.

I had a dream where I was in a facility of some kind that had a stargate, but then Apophis showed up and attacked, and so I jumped at him with the intent of somehow wrapping myself around his head, but he was just a hologram so i simply flew though him. Later, Daniel Jackson found a giant golden scarab beetle with its legs outstretched, about a foot wide. Then Vala found it and tried to pick it up.

First, I was with some drunk people watching a cartoon that seemed to have sections parodying every single Disney movie, and maybe some other movies. The sum of the parts was basically a bizarre pastiche.

Then, I was (maybe?) at a film festival at a large, grand resort hotel. I was stationed at a booth to sign people in. But some people needed to be signed in and some did not so it was a bit confusing. Like, most people had to fill out a form, but for the VIP guests, like the Chinese animator who had directed the movie in the first part, I had to give THEM a form. Also, they had to answer weird questions like "Where is the nearest bookstore?" A small discussion broke out among the people who were busy filling out the forms. Everyone had come in by train and people were trying to figure out if there had been a bookstore at the previous station or just the one before that.

A friend asked me if there were any big weddings coming up, because she was trying to score some hot guys. I said I had just been to a wedding, that of the Chinese animator.

Then I moved to the hotel's front desk. Already the college students and prom attendees were coming in, drenched in sweat and so drunk they could barely walk, and the guys from the local gay bar, likewise drenched in sweat, and clothed in biker gear and mesh body suits. It was going to be a hell of a party.

I had the first dream about Aradirvan, my conworld, last night. I was observing the first siege of Agelleidros by the Empire of Karam. The main force of attackers were about two hundred yards away from a breach in the city's walls when a laser, similar to the Hammar of Dawn from the GoW series, descended from the sky. This defending Ardinorians led a sortie against the bewildered Karamese, routing them. The dream then focused on the exubilent denizens of Agelleidros. They were praising the Teleo, another sentient species on Aradirvan, for their intervention.

I dreamt I was reading about John Coolidge Adams' new musical composition that involved urinating on something. Then I woke up and went to the bathroom, and when I fell back asleep I dreamt I was discussing opera with two people in a row (the same conversation twice) who were speaking sign language. The black fellow had more interesting things to say, and I learned several ASL words (although I understood everything they said perfectly without any knowlege of sign language.)

I killed Lord Voldemort. I did it much better than Harry Potter though - I made flowers grow out of him until he was in such pain that he started crying. Then I killed him with a curse.

Me, my dad and some of my friends were riding down Interstate 21 in an alternate universe where Bob Dylan sings "Highway 21 Revisited", which we were listening to. We had to stop halfway though because one of my friends was lying down in the backseat and almost fell out of the car. Then we went to a strip mall and I went on the search for a cricket set, which I've been looking for in real life. First I went to Dick's Sporting Goods, which didn't have it, and then, now inexplicably not wearing a shirt, I went to a place called Totally Baseball. They said they didn't have cricket equipment, but at the last minute the manager said he'd accidentally received a shipment of thick cricket bat extensions, which he could put on a baseball bat, and would give them to me for free once he'd cleared it with his mortgage people, so I gave him my e-mail. Then I walked back out onto the strip mall looking for dinner, and there was a choice of restaurants, most notably Atria's, a real-life Italian place, and Raven's Pizza, which to my knowledge does not exist in real life. Then I woke up.

I was on the run from the authorities along with two guys I hated, and we were living in a campsite adjacent to a field of sheep and a field of cows. We were walking back to the campsite from the beach, through the cow field, and the two guys did a stupid thing which made the cows chase us into the sheep field. Then we got back into the campsite, where they started taking their clothes off, and saying they were going to sleep in the car instead of the tent, because it was too hot. I decided to go sleep in the car too, so I could perv at them, because I knew there were no blankets in the car. I woke up before I got to see anything though.

The first World's Fair had been held in France in the 1400's. A big tent city was constructed, and delegates from every nation came, including the Emperor of China himself. But the Emperor was offended by something, and initially refused to accept his gift: six naked dancing boys. But then barbarian horsemen came riding in, and beheaded the dancers with their swords. The horsemen were put on trial, and were sentenced to be enslaved, or something. The encyclopedia article I was reading said "...but they may have enjoyed their servitude, given the most common means of mattress construction in 15c. France." I couldn't figure out what this meant. The horsemen were going to be used as mattresses?

Later, my mom was pressuring me to get married, and printed out some long, eloquent document that a friend had written, heaping praises on me. But I wasn't sure if I was supposed to marry him or if he was just going to be the best man. So I decided to avoid the subject. Meanwhile, I had to dig a large pile of mud with my bare hands, but the mud was full of dog shit. So then I went to go wash my hands.

I was in NYC on a tram with my family and some friends and my boyfriend. I saw a Best Buy with a security camera product shopping window high up like twenty stories. I looked at my boyfriend and said, hey you've been wanting security cameras for your house and this Best Buy actually sells them, let's go! So we left my family and we walked to the store's entrance. We took the elevator up but we went further instead to the 25th floor first then to the 50th floor where there were two massive roller coasters. We rode the one roller coaster and then later I was in a helicopter and we lifted the entire roller coaster up into the sky because it was interwoven between a jungle of trees on top of the building and I wondered what it looked like. We put it back and went back to the roller coaster station, but I felt terrible because in doing so we ripped the coaster from its supports and no one noticed and a new train was going to launch. I was afraid the coaster would be unstable and they'd all die and it'd be my fault so I told a guy and he had the architects, who just happened to be there, resecure it and everyone was happy.

Maybe the horsemen were going to be set to work making mattresses.

Of course, this was a dream, so that might not have been the case. Who needs logic when you have a subconscious?

I had a massive dream about the Spanish verb Envejecerse and how to spell it, especially the past participle for some reason. The only problem is I think Envejecer is never reflexive. :?

it can be, its just the semantics are kind of awkward... ever used the phrase "to age oneself?"

envejecerse... yo me envejecí... sounds idiomatic, I guess? I mean I guess some people use it, it's not ungrammatical... just weird.

Interestante. Gracias weón.

O, y no, no creo de toda manera. Me parece gramatical pero a mismo tiempo me parece un poquito extraña. No me acuerdo si la he usado, tal vez, pero entonces nunca me he dado cuenta. :?

I was watching a documentary about how everyone who had worked in a certain movie studio died within 2 years. Then suddenly I was in it. It seemed that people knew they were going to die (one of the people in charge was named Deas /dEs/ ... not exactly Death, but close enough that people made comments about the name). The actual method of killing was to infect us with some sort of disease that developed only gradually, so that even if we did manage to escape the "studio", we would die anyway. Escaping didn't seem to actually be that difficult, since they were trying to pass as normal, but the parking lot at least had armed guards and barriers. I remember walking at one point as part of a chain with 3 people in it, so that we were handcuffed together so that we could move freely but not separately from each other.

There was a few video game elements in this dream, such as being able to turn invisible, but they were not important.
