But if you've only worked there for just a short time, you can't tell for sure if it's a good or bad place, can you?
You have a good point. However, a couple other guys who worked there hated it too. So I think my impression is correct.

Ez dixwazim bi Kurmancî binivîsim. Di malê de tek û tenê yim û sarinc xalî ye lê baran dibarî û min nedixwest ez biçim bajêr ku tiştek bikirrim. Duh jî baran barî lê îro bedtir e - duh ez dikaribûm derve biçim lê îro ne. Ez tenê hemû roj di bin orxanekî ve mame û seyên min yên ku dixwest ku ew îro derve biçin zor xemgîn in.

I want to write in Kurmanji. I'm alone in the house and the fridge is empty but it was raining and I didn't want to go to town to buy something. Yesterday it rained too but today it's worse - yesterday I was able to go outside but today no. I've only stayed under a blanket all day and my dogs who wanted to go outside today are very upset.

The board has no font settings. If it's changed, it might be in your own settings.

Also if you use a mobile or something, I think it'll look different.

Sinto falta do meu ex brasileiro.

I miss my Brazilian ex. It's been almost a year since we broke up, and now he has another boyfriend, and what's more, he's back in Brazil. I don't want us to be a couple again, but something is making me feel nostalgic. Really, I feel a little ashamed for the reasons I broke up with him in the first place.

I noticed the same thing. Did you just install the Google 'noto' fonts? Because that's the only recent change I've made.

(I think Afrikaans just uses 'forum' -- raad, in Dutch, means council. I'd be surprised if they used that)

Hmm, yeah I think so. I should've used 'forum' but the only other word I know for 'board' was direksie.

Afrikaans doen nie my opgewonde nie meer, ek voel soos 'n gemiddelde spreker.
I was looking through old posts and wow I was a dickhead (do not recommend). Anyway, I'm really wanting to bring the whole RP tour thing back, hopefully when I flesh out my concultures and conworld a bit more. On another note, I need to start learning the languages I'm interested in (K'iche' or Yucatec, and Cree) but I'm so bad at finding grammars and if they're not free I'm so frugal that if it's over £10 or $15 I just give up. Afrikaans doesn't excite me anymore, I feel like an average speaker.

Tomodachi ni kuwashiku hanashite moratte, betsu ni maruyaka janai koto wo shinakatta sō da. Demo ima wa mata shimoneta wo hanashite, yappari aru etchina koto wo shita sō da ga, tada etchi da to wakaranakatta. Shinjirarenai! :o Kare mo mae ni are wo suru to omowanakattatte itteta. Kareshi wa haitai sareta naa.
I had my friend tell me more details, but he said they hadn't anything but mild things. But now that we talked about dirty stuff again, it turned out that they had done a perverted thing. It's just that he didn't know that is perverted. Unbelievable! :o He said too that he wouldn't have thought he'd do that. I guess his boyfriend has corrupted him.

Yes, there's probably a bunch of mistakes in my Japanese, I'm just too tired to look things up. Though, can shimoneta be used in this way, or does it only have the meaning of having dirty talk during sex?

Rydw i'n dysgu Cymraeg. Rydw i'n ysgrifennu'r ddedfrydau 'na:

Mae’r ferch yn prynu llyfr i’r fam. Ble mae e?
Rydw i’n mynd i’r dre heddiw. Ydych chi’n dod gyda fi?
I ble rydyn ni’n mynd yr bore braf ‘ma? Allan.
Ydy’r llew yn yr ardd o hyd? Ydy! Mae e’n mynd ar ôl y ci.
Mae’r bobl ‘na eisiau pethau da. Rydw i pethau da, hefyd.
Maen nhw’n aros yn yr stafell fach.
Mae un fasged dda yn y tŷ ‘ma.
Mae hi eisiau gweld yr ardd fawr iawn.
Mae’r ci yn aros gartre yn y bore.
Pam rwyt ti o hyd yn y gwely? Achos dydw i ddim eisiau gadael.

I am learning Welsh. I write these sentences:

The girl buys a book for the mother. Where is it?
I am going to town today. Are you (formal) coming with me?
To where are we going this fine morning? Outside.
Is the lion still in the garden? Yes! It is going after the dog.
Those people want good things. I want good things, too.
They are waiting in the little room.
One good basket is in this house.
She wants to see the very large garden.
The dog stays at home in the morning.
Why are you still in bed? Because I don't want to leave.

I don't understand what you're saying, but if you mean something along the lines of daily life lessons for Welsh, why not? I googled "learn Welsh" and found a website such as: ci-dessus. I am going to truly try to learn it, but Welsh for me is just a hobby. I should really rather be learning Dutch for my thesis subject. Still, I find Welsh interesting.

Ah, it's just I was taking the class how it was taught (that wasn't mentioned mentioned anyway). I tried to look up this name, but I didn't find anything. But anyway, I understand now.

Versuche "Cymraeg Byw". z.B. hier sagt es
Cymraeg Byw, or Living Welsh, is a somewhat controversial academic version of Welsh created in the 1960s and 1970s as a standard for textbooks. Of course, nobody who aims to be a fluent Welsh speaker would really want to speak textbook Welsh-just as someone who speaks textbook English is looked at a bit askance, speaking Cymraeg Byw marks the speaker as an obvious learner.
I should really rather be learning Dutch for my thesis subject.

I looked it up in English, that was my problem.

First I have to iron out some details, but the idea concerns the influences of Belgian French on Flemish (and why the opposite (the influence of Flemish on Belgian French) we rarely see). Next year (ie. school year), I hope to study in Liege, and there do some research on this subject.

Merci! Nannalu!
